  • I do not accept insurance because I want therapy to be guided by your needs—not by the limitations of an insurance company. Many insurance plans require a formal diagnosis and restrict the number, length, or type of sessions covered. By working outside of insurance, I’m able to protect your privacy, tailor treatment to your unique goals, and offer flexibility in how we structure our work together.

I do, however, provide a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company to receive partial reimbursement if you. have out-of-network benefits. Many of my clients receive as much as 80% of the session fee back. If you have any questions about this process, reach out! I am happy to walk you through that process.

  • A sliding scale spot is a reduced-fee appointment reserved for clients who need support but aren’t able to pay the full session rate. Instead of one set price, the fee “slides” within a range based on your financial situation.

I offer a limited number of these spots to help make therapy more accessible while still maintaining a sustainable practice. If you’re wondering whether a sliding scale rate might be a good fit for you, you’re welcome to reach out—there’s no pressure, no judgment, and no need to over-explain. My goal is to help you get the support you need in a way that feels doable.

  • You may be eligible to use your Out-of-Network insurance benefits to be reimbursed for part of your individual therapy sessions. This means you would pay for sessions up front, and then submit documentation to your insurance company to request reimbursement. I provide a detailed “super bill” (an itemized receipt with the necessary codes and information) that you can easily send to your insurance provider.

Every plan is different, so reimbursement depends on your specific coverage. Many of my clients find they are reimbursed for a significant portion of their sessions once their deductible is met. To find out your benefits, you can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your “out-of-network outpatient mental health coverage”. Or you can reach out to me and I’d be happy to guide you through this process so it feels clear, easy, and manageable.

  • Extended sessions can be a great option if you have a lot going on that you need to address quickly. Sometimes a standard session isn’t enough—especially when life feels overwhelming or when doing more intensive OCD work like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Extended sessions provide the space to slow down, explore challenges in greater depth, and work through immediate concerns without the pressure of the clock. They can be especially valuable for individuals in high-pressure careers, navigating burnout, struggling with perfectionism, feeling limited by their anxiety, or are going through a significant or unexpected life transition. Extended session offer more time to process, gain clarity, build skills, and leave feeling grounded with practical tools and a plan you can carry forward.t goes here
